I echo redwormcomposting.com. I've gotten two separate orders from them. Both orders had very healthy worms and seemed to contain more than my order size even with water loss from shipping. Good luck and have fun. Don't do this unless you have time to kill --it's addictive (or is it just me!!)

I ordered my worms from www.unclejimswormfarm.com back in December. I started with an order of 2000 worms (about $40)which in my mind was going to be a HUGE amount of worms. In reality, the bag of worms that I got seemed quite small, but after 4 months in my composter, I'm happy to say that I've got approximately a BAJILLION red wigglers. :-) Just jump in and get yourself set up and order some worms... don't get hung up in thinking about it, just DO IT! It's a LOT of fun (and it's good for the environment and your plants)

With so many people vermicomposting now, you might try to find someone in your area who will give you some worms for free.

I'd LOVE to give you red wrigglers, but I will NOT ship.
