| Until recently everything seems to be ok in my bin. I have noticed some thing i feel need to be taken care but I do not have the slightest clue of what they may be or their relationship to the bin. There seems to be little gray worms about 1/4" inch or so. The thing that worries me is that they are not red. Would these baby worms? I have also noticed some little brown sand like things on some of the worms and in masses. Are these beneficial or how should I go about to getting rid of them?
I thank you guys so much for your help. pomme8916

| Photos of the gray "worms" would help. The brown sand things are probably mites. Here are links to some photos of common worm bin critters. http://www.allthingsorganic.com/How_To/12.asp Andrew |
