killing those eggs!

hello fellow worm farmers. im looking to use up my composted dirt from my worm bin. sadly i am living in an apartment and am forced to place my plants in potters. because of that sometimes worms are hidden in the compost dirt i use.

i have found that these worms are starting to feed on the roots of several of my plants. since discovering this i have been drying the compost for a week or so, usually this time is just enough to kill off any worms present in the dirt.

looking at the latest batch of dirt drying i have noticed several eggs in the dirt. how long will it take for these eggs to be killed off too?
