Conquering roly polys and advice needed

I posted awhile back about my roly poly infestation -- I let a bin get too wet and they loved it. In an attempt to decrease their numbers, I stopped feeding for six weeks. And then I added a bunch of paper to try to dry it out.

That was not the right move.

Total pillbug explosion. They absolutely loved the paper.

Here's how bad it was: I took two handfuls of vermipost out and spread it on the lid outside. In the sun, in 80 degree weather, for three days. There were easily 200 dead pillbugs on the lid this afternoon.

Yes, I know that pillbugs/rolypolys are part of the process -- I had a ludicrous amount.

The only drawback is that I now have dry chunks of vermicompost.

What do you think I should do with it? Mix the chunks into the garden or add to my watering can a handful at a time? I could also top dress with it, if you think I would get any benefit from it.
