Maure Worms

I was out at a horse farm today digging through the piles.
If I was a fisherman, there were lots of Dew worms (Canadian Nightcrawlers). I took a couple just to see how they will do in my bins, but I'm not expecting them to perform.
It was slim pickings for wigglers, and some piles were a year old, some less than that and one was 3 years old. Mind you, this winter was brutal, and he said this was the first time he'd ever seen the manure piles freeze. Maybe that's why, I don't know.
I'm going to go out again in a few weeks. Heck I loved just seeing and petting the horses!
Edited to say that the heading was supposed to be Manure worms.....
