Even after harvesting many of us then let the harvested material sit a bit so that any cocoons can hatch and those worms can be harvested. Also just sitting seems to do something good to the harvested vermicompost. Sitting not totally sealed up but not drying up either.

Looks like fine VC (vermi-compost). Maybe harvested early depending on your goals and needs.
It could be a great soil amendment "as is". Or,you could sift out some of the castings and return the rest to the bin. You could do as EQ2 suggests and make a finishing bin. Finishing bins often become new worm bins. Or you can wait longer. It is your choice, and all are good ones.
Newbies tend to harvest a little too soon at first. I did. It is educational and hurts nothing.

I was planning on doing a tea with it. Need to still get an air pump/bubbler stone though. I would be interested in raising a new bin, after having them since January I think I have most of it all figured out now. Harvesting and making the tea are the last things I have yet to accomplish.

Maybe I will do a multiple bin system, as opposed to just a single one. Although I have to say I dont mind the single bin method, I would just like to start a whole new colony in a bin of their own. What are everyone else's preferences?
