How do you feel about office paper?

What will you use more of instead of newspaper?

What do you feel is the most desirable of the paper genre of the waste stream for vermicomposters to covet?

While I am perhaps unfairly unfriendly to office paper I am way into used cardboard drink coasters. They disappear in what sees like a single day. The coasters are handy and clean and space savingly efficient to store. They also slip along the side of the bin to dry it out quickly. Plus I imagine they are tasty. If I were a worm.

The real reason why the drink coasters disappear so quickly is because the worms drag them down to the bottom where they use them underneath their coffee cups (filled with coffee grounds, of course).
In my own bins though, I use (primarily) shredded corrugated cardboard. I also save and shred, toilet paper and towel paper tubes. The only paper I do add is the brown paper backing and dividers to corrugated cardboard. If the cardboard is too thick for the shredder, then I'll separate the layers and run it through however I can. I try not to waste anything.

shaul: I never thought about separating the corr. cb so I can run them through my shredder. Thanks for the tip.
BTW., the warranty on the shredder will be void if they ever find out I used it for cardboard.
