Upside Down Flowthrough

Bell Bottoms are In!

Every flowthrough I have ever seen is narrower at the bottom than the top. The material compacts and needs to be removed. How about if I flip the flow through upside down and put the material in at the narrower end and let it fall out of the larger end. The difference in wideness is parts of an inch. The muck the worms soon build up on the walls should glue the material. I would support the material at the bottom temporarily.

I'm convinced the vermicompost as it drys will simply fall into the harvest tray of its own accord when it is perfectly ready. If not I may have to move to an alternate universe where physics are different.
