Have you tried playing 'mood music' for them? I came across a bit of hilarious misinformation on a website titled "How does a worm farmer spend a workday?" All I can think of is that whichever worm expert she was milking for info, so she could pose as an expert, pulled her leg big time.

It sounds like a second grader wrote a report for school. Odd, the photo of the contributing author doesn't look 10 years old.

I have heard that adding calcium helps them breed. Maybe add some calcium-set tofu to the bin? Or some manky broccoli? Though since they eat the bacteria and not the veg itself I don't know if that would work.
