In my opinion, it is possible, but not wise!

Grrr I don't like slugs. You know I am wondering if you let them live in there can they lay eggs or something (not sure how slugs reproduce...assuming by eggs) in the vermicompost and if you use it in the garden your just helping them procreate?

All's fair in love and war, and when it comes to me and slugs, it's war ... or maybe a slugfest.

I like to think of my worm and compost bins as very large slug traps and I dispatch any that I find with pleasure. Works better than any other trap I've tried.

Hello, kill them when you can, yes they will have left eggs behind, yes they will procreate they allways do wherever we kill them eggs are always left behind which is why we can not get rid of them completely if you kill them in your worm bin leave the carcases for the worms to dispose of thats what worms do I wish you well regards John

Supposedly alchohol(from beer) and caffeine will kill them. Try a cheap bear and a pot of cold coffee?

I had a slug problem with my lillies outside, ringed the plants with coffee on a hunch (after seeing it work well with ants) and the slugs are gone. Maybe the caffeine (from the previous post) did it?

Some of the fattest slugs I've ever seen have been found in my worm bins....I feed them to my fish and frogs. I hear that birds love them too. If you don't have any creatures to feed them to, I'd say hasta luego, sluggo!
