Leave it until it's gone and why buy another? You can use old T-shirts, old blankets etc. you have around the house or you can get burlap sacks from coffee places where they get the coffee in bulk, for free. Just have to do some phoning around.
Save your money for something you can't get for free and got to have it sometime further down the road.

Apparently vermicomposting is so popular that one can pick up a worm blanket at Bed Bath & Beyond or even Walmart. It does not say but it is probably made out of coconut fiber and similar to the hanging pot liners. For $15 it is sized perfectly to a square or round tray bin. If you like it but would like a fresher one, let this one sink in the bin and purchase for $3, or less at the end of the garden season, one of the plant pot liners. It will not have a handy sewn in handle, however. It may take forever to breakdown but that is ok because it is doing a job in the bin. It provides a damp yet airy place for the worms to hang out. I would not throw it out. If needed due to deteriation and not being able to lift it up in one sheet anymore, I would cut it into any size pieces and let them sink down in the bin and when harvesting pop them back in on top of the bin until they are gone.

Thanks folks - I will leave it - and let it rot away - and just use the fresh bedding for cover (I put that on anyway - under the blanket). I am too afraid to cut it up - as there are worms hiding in there (not many but some are babies). I think they went there 'cause it was moldy and to see if there was something good to eat - and then when I started picking at them - they dug in.

The blanket is made from jute fibers.

The supplier gives only enough info to make you think if you don't get all the accessories - you might not be doing it right. They don't say it - but they also don't say that it isn't necessary. Gullible me!
