try bug ID: The picture isn't definitive enough to count legs, identify those pincers (which look definitve to me ) . . . If the picture were edited down to just the insect, you could use google image search. As shown there is too much blue and shine to match with an online bug.

I think the pincer/pincher on your bug is different from a common ground beetle.
