Curious behaviour of baby worms

Since they have red tinge, I am guessing they are not pot worms.

I am observing curious behaviour of baby worms in my bin. Usually in the mornings, moisture condenses on the lid of the bin. I see a lot - at least around 50 or so baby worms on the lid. But I almost never see a adult venturing in that area.

These worms are in many sizes - from half inch to two inch, but no adults. If I open the lid in the evening, there is no condensation or worms on the lid.

I am not sure if these worms find their way back to bedding or just get stuck on the lid and die. I have never seen any dead bodies of either adult or baby worms anywhere in my bin. So assuming they are going back to bedding.

Just wondering, what causes these baby worms to gather on the lid
