When to Clean Out Mealworm Tubs

I raise mealworms as live food for my praying mantis. I keep them in a large tupperware tub with three inches of wheat bran and some sliced potato. I was wondering how I will be able to tell when it's time to clean out their enclosure, remove the old bran, add new bran etc etc.

mealworms are beetle larva ... redworms are a different critter, not likely any info here about them, unless someone here happens to do similar to what you are

might try a google search about raising them
