I spotted this on National Geographic's website and got to thinking... would this work on redworms? Has anyone tried this technique? Granted it looks like it takes a lot of practice, but we also have the benefit of a captive audience.

"Grunting" vibrates worms to the surface

Just this past weekend,in the village of Willaston, near Nantwich, Cheshire, UK, they held the 30th Annual Worm Charming Chmpionships. http://www.wormcharming.com/

Since red worms don't live in the soil as we know it they cannot respond to grunting .
