Mites in casting - OK for seedlings?

I have harvested the castings from my WF, 1st time ever, and got about 5lbs I'd say. Found less than 10 worms and about 5 cocoons it it. I hope the worms are in the upper tray. I left the empty tray outside and when I checked back a few hours later, there were lots of mites on the paper the tray was on. So, there must be lots of mites in the casting.

I'd like to use some of it for my seedling. Will the mites damage/eat the tender roots or the entire sprout?

Any input is much appreciated.
