Feed the same things you feed outside but it's good to freeze it first. Try to avoid things you pick up outside. Really, just feed outdoor bins all that stuff and indoor bins the same things you eat....except, of course, most of what you eat, like grease, and meat, and salt, and excess jalapeno peppers, and pizza, and....well, really just anything classified as "Fast Food".

If you don't have BSF or varmints, your wormies won't. They also won't have all the ailments those who eat Fast Food are infested with.

Put screens on your windows as necessary if they're sometimes opened. Keep critters outside. Dogs, cats, and birds pristine. Family members too.

If an indoor bin becomes infested with aliens or creatures from a parallel universe, convert those bins into outdoor bins....except for those contaminated with aliens. Detonate those. Chuckiebto, I will def check Bin detonation. aside from that Thanks for your help, unfortunately I have a sliding glass back door and if you every been to NC (IM New Yorker stuck in the country) you would run from all the weird flying critters... so I get a lot of fly's in threw the sliding glass door when we go in an out... Besides that im a personal trainer so don't get me started with fast food and chronic illness...lol

OK, in all seriousness, if you feed an indoor bin AT THE SAME RATE THAT THE WORMS EAT IT, and if you cover the freshly introduced food with shredded newspaper, and if you are diligent about keeping critter-attracting stuff from attracting critters, it'll be OK.

Think of it this way: if your kitchen garbage can isn't critter-laden, your worm bin shouldn't be either.

I have never attracted anything in my bin, except for mites. I haven't had any for a couple of years now, so I'm happy. Not to worry OA I seriously doubt you would ever have an infestation of BSFL or anything odd like that, indoors.
