tiny worms but really red in color. parasite or red worm.

today i found a bunch of tiny baby worms in a bucket that had a bit of rainwater in it and left out in the garden for a while.

the worms are under the water and wiggles rigorously when agitated.

i had a bucket full of soil and made drainholes underneath it so i could extract them worms into the soil environment that i hope it to become a compost bin.

can anyone confirm if this is the compost red worm or even if its a earth worm rather than some nasty parasite worms? they just looked abnormally red.
