We All Gotta Go Sometime

Is the best use for a worm on the way out to die and decompose, giving not only it's life but it's death and body to the bin? Is vermicompost enhanced by the reabsorbing of previous living worm bodies? Is their essence the secret ingredient that makes vermicompost so unique? Or would worms, just about my age in worm years, those past egg laying, but still eating up the young-en's food, be best tossed to the fish or chickens, or wild birds? Maybe worms decompose by means of the perfect microbe to feed baby worms?

Why are the only hobbies I have ones that spell check does not recognize as words?

Since my whole worming philosophy ...wait, that sounds way presumptuous...., uh...aim...is to do all this thing naturally...well, except for the plastic bins, ....and air-conditioned worm condo,....and, um...pre-processing, and pureeing, and pre-freezing foodstuffs, and using the opinion pages of my newspaper as bedding materials in lieu of naturally decomposing leaves and twigs and dead animal carcasses, I long ago decided to leave both the dead worm bodies where they lie, and Mother Nature, alone.

They might be past reproducing, but if they eat then they poop and their poop is what is valuable.

And as they're old and can't be bothered with boasting around to attrack chicks, then the only pleasure left for them is food.

Hence they eat a lot more and poop a lot more. They are be bigger producers of great poop than the young ones who waste their time showing off in front of girls instead of stuffing and pooping.

No metaphor intended ;-)
