home bin - worm density

Quick question for indoor bin users (ideally RMs / non-FT, non-stackable): what is the highest density of worms you've been able to maintain?

Background - I recently moved the contents of my outdoor RM indoors to a smaller container in prep for the winter. I tried to keep my outdoor bin going last winter, but the herd froze. luckily i kept a small seed population indoors; that plus the cocoons from the outdoor bin allowed me to keep a population going through the past year. This winter, I've decided to transplant nearly all the worms and cocoons to a small indoor bin (@ 2'x1.5'x1.5'). It's pretty tight in there - if the worms were bunched together, it'd be somewhere between a softball and cantaloupe size herd. I'm just curious if i can maintain this population in such a small space, and if anyone has tips on how to do so successfully.
