http://www.backyardbiz.com/backyardbiz1.pdf (EBOOK)

I was searching for info again on Vermicompsting & getting my community involved, and I found http://www.vermicrobe.com

I liked what the http://www.backyardbiz.com/ had to say.

I'm not saying it's a great find, but I liked it so I wanted to share with all of you...any info is better then none. And we must all carry Mary's torch!

If it's a scam, or not, let me know...Jennifer in Cincy.

Sorry, but this is definitely a scam. The amount of money is not as bad as with some scams, but the information provided on this site is grossly exagerated and innacurate. This is completely bogus, and not worth anyone's time, let alone their money.

    Run away! Run away!

such a shame. GrowingPower.org is a neat teaching center in Milwaukee, nonprofit. if this were true (they have tons of worm bins), theyd be rolling in cash. Helps keep them afloat sure, but not millionares.

the way to make money.... is to write a kinda plausible book, and charge everyone $10-$50 for an info booklet ;-)

glad you checked back here first!

Vermicrobe? Is that an Australian company? If you arc considering worm farming then just buy a book called "worm farm management" by Eric Wilson. It is out of print these days but you can still get copies easy enough.

Vermicrobe sell a system for up to $80 000. It is a workable system no doubt but if you read this book you get all the info for probably $50.00 or less and would then be able to build the very same system for around $10000.

Any further training is easy enough to get from Soil Food Web.
