Vermicomposting

Sorry if this has been answered a thousand times, but when I try to search ...I get some error message so I will ask...When vermicomposting, does this process (because it gets ingested) destroy the seeds that are present? I made the mistake (due to complete ignorance) of putting all the sseds from tomatoes/peppers what have you in my compost pile and OH MY did develope a problem! So as my "herd" begins to grow in stature and numbers, Im wondering if I should just toss any seed matter into the garbage....or feed them to the motley crew...

The fleshy part of the tomato is there so that when it rots it will provide the best place possible for the seed to sprout. Any sprouts that are in areas where they are not wanted can be turned into the compost. It will just add to the goodness. I put seeds and all into my compost and into my worm bin.

And when they sprout, pull them out and they become more worm food. That's what I do.
