Certainly is good reading there for not only newbies but those that have been doing this for awhile. After reading does give me some concerns , not that I didnt already have them that in time giving my small space and two tier systems consisting of 8bins total , at some point space vs worms may become a problem. Im hoping that the constant rotating of the bins with keep things in order at least for a while.

On the issue of shredded paper[confetti style] not being a good mix I have not problem as when I make a new tray bedding I mix some in with the bedding and its always been used up when I harvest. But I also agree with the long full length strand of paper which I do by hand and pile that on top as a covering for the food and to keep fruit flies at bay.
