Those look very similar to a critter that I found in my bin.

I believe those to be mites. They are harmless to your worms, and indeed may be beneficial, since they consume decaying organic matter and help build the microbial load that the worms thrive on. Just another citizen of the bin.

Someone more experienced might give a definite ID, but I think you're okay.

Thank you. I thought at first that they might be mites, except that I found the red parasitical ones also residing in my bin and they were significantly larger than these. Are the white ones that much smaller? These aren't round either, they are long and skinny. Maybe it's a mite I haven't found pictures of yet?

No, they're not mites.

The longer white things may be enchytraeid worms, sometimes called pot worms. If so, not a problem.

Not enchytraeid worms either. They have antennas and legs. Any other thoughts on what they could be? Also, can worm eggs be red? Can't tell if they're red mites or worm cocoons.
