| I have a 20' wide x 24' long hoophouse, and last summer I finally took the plunge and figured out how to implement rollerhooks.
I got stainless steel aircraft cable, clamps, and a turnbuckle for each cable run. Now THAT'S a turnbuckle. It was probably overkill, but I didn't know how to size it and no one to ask... Once the cables are up and tensioned, then you can hang and use your rollerhooks to support your plants. I grew tomatoes, green peppers, and some green beans jumped from their overly-short supports to grow up these. |
