Potatoe help please

| Last year I did a potatoe box with ok results. I used Golden Maine Potatoes. The problem I had was that I only got potatoes at the bottom of the box. My question is what kind of potatoes do I need to get so that I will get more potatoes as I add soil and increase the height of the box ? Thank you for any help. |

| Did you add boards as needed and cover the plants with new soil? I've heard that you're supposed to cover the entire plant with new soil (the plant will quickly grow through the soil). You don't want the stems to receive sunlight or they won't produce potatoes. |
