Balcony Garden

I am planning a vertical garden made from a re-used shipping pallet on my patio and do not want to attract bees. Some herbs I really want to have in the garden are Basil, Thyme, and Dill, but they are big bee attractors. If I keep proactive about trimming the flowers off of these plants can I keep bees away?

I use the patio often and do not want to be bothered by bees. Any ideas?

They are drawn first by the aroma of the plant. Once they get closer they identify and determine if there are any flowers to be sipped from. Only way to keep them away is to grow the plants in an enclosed greenhouse. Even if you net over the plants, the aroma still attracts the pollinators. You could grow these hydroponically indoors in a sunny window.
