| For years I've wanted to plant a wisteria at the 4x4 pergola post at the corner of my patio. However, this is about 15' from my house foundation, 10' from my septic tank, and 8' from the liner of my ornamental pond. Would the roots ultimately break through one or more of these? If it's a risk, what gorgeous, not overly invasive woody vine would you recommend? I'd like something that would go 30' or so. |

| I would say a resounding YES - the suckers will come up through concrete! I don't know of a perennial vine that ISN'T invasive. How about planting a pretty annual vine? |
