Grape Vine question

Last June, my wife and I bought a new house, and out back it had a VERY healthy grape vine. After picking all the grapes, stupid me, not knowing what I was doing, decided to prune it back to the dead-wood. Now, I think I may have killed it off. I was wondering if someone here might be able to help me out.

You've probably figured out by now that you didn't kill it. :)
Grapes can take a real beating and recover pretty nicely.
How's it looking now?
