hardy morning glory

I got this plant over the summer. Was told it was a hardy MG. Can anyone tell anything about it. The man I got it from said to take cutting to grow more. I have not seen any seeds. Good bloomer.

Dimples - The plant you have there looks like
Ipomoea indica to me...and this species is often self-incompatible and therefore may not produce seeds...

The plant that you have may overwinter if you mulch the roots or as the person who provided you with the plant suggested,you could root cutting in water and overwinter the plant by that method keeping the young plants in a sunny window...
