I have one growing in my flower garden it is beutiful . will it winter ok in my area if not what do i do to keep it alive?

| I overwintered brugmansia indoors. I presume it is in a pot. When I took my plant in I took all the leaves off and cut the branches back to get it into the unheated but attached garage. Don't give a lot of water, maybe a drink once every few weeks. Don't let the temperature fall below. 45 deg. F. My plant always told me when spring would be near because it would come out of dormancy and make leaves. Good luck! Joseph
