Suggestions for Empty Southern Facing Wall

I have a great southern facing wall - part of the wall faces west as well. (click the link below for a photo) I want to have a vine growing to cover part of the wall. Was thinking of covering the corner and part of the south wall and part of the west side. I would like to plant at the top of the wall as I have water/sprinklers up top and have the vine grow down. I dont want to add support so would need a vine that clings to concrete.

I like deciduous vines that loose leaves and change with the season. I was thinking of climbing hydrangea but dont really want to wait 5 years for it to grow. Was also thinking of virginia creeper - but worried it would be to agressive. Also thought of crossvine.

Any suggestions? Happy to post pictures once it is complete to show the progress.
