Pruning an overgrown Honeysuckle Vine

Hi,

I have a Honeysuckle growing on a small arbor and the arbor needs to be stained this year. I am also considering moving it, but not sure yet. Wondering if anyone here has some experience doing that? I was thinking of just cutting it back all the way to the ground and if I move it, just digging it up as soon as the ground is workable. If I don't move it, I thought I would wait until after it bloomed to prune it back. Or could I wait to move it until after it bloomed too? Any other suggestions?

Thanks...
