Can anyone help me with an easy fast-growing chicken-safe vine?

I want to plant some vines on the outside of our chicken run to provide summer shade. I'd like perennial vines and they need to be chicken safe since the chickens will eat any leaves that they can reach. I was researching hops but are they easy and hardy? I prefer non fruiting vines but will plant fruit ones if the fruit isn't bright (wild bird poo and all that). thanks!

I did a google.com search and found tons of sites where chicken growers have great information on this subject:

Here is a link that might be useful: Vines safe for chicken runs

thanks. I'd already done that but was hoping for the input of people who are more into gardening than raising chickens since people here seem to know more about zones and such. Thanks anyway.
