I was lazy this fall and never took down the dried morning glory vines from last summer. Now all the seed pods are still there - Can I use the seeds and plant them this year, or are they ruined? They were subjected to all the elements all winter, and our winters are fairly fierce here in Ottawa, Canada.

I was hoping that maybe because they'd gone through the Canadian winter they would be hardier for this year...
