This is my first JMG and i live in Indonesia. I plant it from seed early Feb '13 and now it is growing in a 35cm pot. Not sure what zone is Jakarta. my question is, will this JMG open more than the picture? size is around 2". Is there anything I can do to make it open more? It is growing in my balcony getting part morning and afternoon sun.

Many thanks from a newbie.

Your morning glory is growing exactly as it should. There is nothing you can do to change it's shape or size because this is how this particular JMG grows.

Looks really nice in your pic, healthy and happy

Welcome to the wonderful world of growing morning glories. You have a double flower, congratulations. It is normal size, petite and cantik.

Do you grow your plants where you give them protection from the intense tropical sun?
