| Last week I had to tear down an old, rotting fence that was holding up a wisteria vine. I decided to attempt to make a new support for it. I used 20' rebar, wire fencing and some scraps of copper wire for decorations. I was really happy with how it turned out and thought maybe it might provide some inspiration to other vine enthusiasts. :D
If you have any trellis pics to share, I'd love to see them!

That is really pretty. It's a piece of garden art and it's almost a shame to cover it up with vines.

Thanks so much to both of you! It was surprisingly easy and I think I will be making more. I might try to get a bit more creative with the accents. We shall see. :)

I would also like to know how you made that, it's gorgeous! Is that one long piece of rebar? It also looks like a lot of copper wire and I'm wondering if you tied it to the rebar? Very pretty! I think you did a great job!

Ditto to all the praises & applause, Alina ~ I would post a photo of my ~ just put together *functional trellis/arbor* (that dreamed it was a beautiful Pergola) of 4 HD plasticoated tubing posts & plasticoated garden-wire-caging & some plasticoated wire for ties ~ if only I were brazen enough to post, after seeing your work of art. I thought the 'C-' I gave my work was overly generous for garden architecture 101! Perhaps for laught I might!!! However, many thanks for the inspiration Alina!!!
