Vines - good or bad

In the last couple of years some sort of vine began growing among my bushes in the front of my house. I really don't know what kind of vine it is. I have a photo, but I don't see any way of attaching it to this post. My basic questions are:

1. Should I keep it or get rid of it?
2. Will it bother my shrubs?
3. Any recommendations?

You could post it here if you use Photobucket, a free storage site. ( Photobucket.com). Upload your pictures to that site, then copy the HTML line beneath the picture and paste here in the message portion. You can post multiple pictures and not worry about size this way.

We need to ID the vine before we decide if it's good or bad.
