Early leafing z. 5 vine for wet area?

I need to cover an ugly 2'H, 3' wide circular wall/mound of stones etc.It is above a septic/leaching area and honeysuckle has not been successful there. As the season progresses, the mound is surrounded on some sides by fallopia varieg., cannas, jap iris, ligularia...Other GWers have suggested akebia, amer. wisteria, clematis.Any experiences doing this? Thank you for your help.

I am having a hard time visualizing the area you are talking about.
Will the soil be constantly damp? What about the sun?
Will it get full sun all day or partial sun, or shade?
Honeysuckle doesn't like constantly wet soil, that is why they do very well during a drought.
You will get better responses with a pic.
