pink trumpet vine, invasive?

After reading comments I'm afraid to plant on trelles. Is this pink trumpet as invasive as the orange red ones? I just spent a day removing passion vine from this spot, (they were popping up all over) but need a vine to help shade the killer afternoon sun. This spot is on west side and house body sucks up the heat. I also have a coral vine but that now doesnt sound like a better solution.Thanks for any help.

I am not aware of any Honeysuckle that is not invasive to some degree. Plant it in a big pot, on a concrete paver, and enjoy it.

The pink trumpet vine is not invasive, but only blooms in the fall. A better choice would be a pink bower vine, which blooms more, or a coral honeysuckle, which also blooms a lot and is not invasive. I have all three, and in my zone, they are all evergreen.
