I am hoping to try growing either Cardinal Climber, Cypress Vine, Ipomoea (Mina) Lobata-Spanish Flag, Thunbergia alata or a colorful morning glory for the first time. I live in an area that doesn't have the longest of summers, so I was hoping someone could advise me on which of these would start flowering more quickly than the others, and which are easiest? I was really hoping to find a flowering vine that had dark fuchsia, maroon or burgundy blooms to complement my house. I have read that several,of these take 4 months to bloom.....which would mean not until August!
Any recommendations?
