Overwintered Allamanda Vine

I purchased this Vine at the end of Season last year and overwintered it .All the leaves fell off so I let it go into dormancy.Can anyone tell me if I should chop all the old stems down to pot level or will the leaves resprout on the stems?

I usually keep mine growing in the greenhouse but had one that had cold damage and lost all it's leaves. I actually thought it was dead but new growth appeared from the lower portion of the stems. I'd cut it back to about 4". If you see that the stems are alive I wouldn't cut it back that much. Just wait and see where new growth emerges.
