Check into the hardiness of the beautiful, but odorless honeysuckle, Lonicera tellmanniana. It is somewhat tolerant of shade. Another nice vine is Schizophragma 'Moonlight'. I am in zone 7 and do not know if they would tolerate zone 4.

Thanx I'm shooting for more information on the Schizopragma--zone 5--I'm 4, so close. Wonderful looking vine!!! Sent an email to Heronswood.com--see if their experts feel it might work. Hope your suggestion pans out for me, as this vine looks fantastic and would relly brighten this spot up.
