Cobaea Scanden - does it play nice with others?

Hi all,
I have a cobaea growing in a pot that I'm afraid might be a little too small for it. The largest thing that I have is a half whiskey barrel, but it already has two sweet peas going in it. It looks like there is room for the cobaea in there, but I know it takes over once it gets going. So... two questions:

1 - Can my cobaea play nice with my sweet peas? I can try to give them separate trellis systems... it might be crazy looking
2 - Can a cobaea do well in an 18-20 inch urn?

I would appreciate any feedback

A Cobaea will grow fine in the urn you have, just remember to let it dry a little between waterings. The Sweet Peas will be done with the heat of the summer, and the Cobaea will just be getting into its own, so you may have a winning combo there. Love Cobaea.

Thank you! Very helpful! If I leave the Cobaea in the urn, any suggestions on what to plant in the big whiskey barrel once the sweet peas succumb to the heat? Is there anything that can grow in the heat but make it to the first frost?
