Last year, I had built a trellis on the only spot on my property that could accommodate a trellis.

This year, I built two 2' x 2' mini raised beds (4" above grade) at the trellis base to at least avoid occasional standing water during the spring.

I ordered two "King of the North" grapevines which will be coming in tomorrow.

I guess it's too late to ask now, but has anyone had success with raising grapes in wetlands conditions? After reading about it, I hear grapes don't like wet feet. did I make a big mistake in getting grapes for my site, or is there hope? Any special techniques or advice for growing grapes in wet conditions, or is this a lost cause? Thanks!
