I've grown it and have sort of a love hate relationship with it. The hummers seem to like it, as do the bees and butterflies, and it adds a nice bit of color but it's a prolific re-seeder.

Yes I have grown it for the hummers and they love it. All morning glories reseed in my yard pretty much so I wanted one that would attract hummingbirds. I enjoyed it although getting rid of unwanted seedlings the next few years is not fun!

It makes a wonderful ground cover on the hard, dry, gravel-packed roadside!

I grew it about 4 years ago, and now it self-seeds every year. I haven't had a problem with it - I just mow the volunteers that come up in the yard.
