help russian vine or silver lace dying i think?

Please help. I have planted a Russian vine or mile a minute or silver lace vine in a pot on my terrace. It started growing well but seems to have stopped growing, the leaves are turning red and dropping off. I am new to gardening and have no idea whats happening can anyone help? Pot to small, to much or not enough water, not enough sun? Its in a 5 litre pot in a very shady position.

Post a photo so we know which plant you are growing. Are you overwatering it? Does the pot have drainage?
