Need Help Identifying this Invasive Vine

Gardenor

Hi,

I have a vine problem.

A species of vine that I can't identify has migrated across the street from a river bank and has attacked out forsythia. I'm in the process of trying to get rid of it but it's very persistent and it's everywhere; all over the forsythia.

I've looked on the web for sites that help you identify invasive vines, but I haven't been able to get a bead on this one (although I suspect that it's common here in coastal MA).

I've also noticed that I develop a respiratory allergy to this vine after working with it for 5-10 minutes; it starts with a stuffy nose and moves on to a dry throat cough. I'm not allergic to any other plants that I know of. Does this ring any bells with anyone? What's the best way to deal with this?

I know, 20 questions, but I really want to get rid of this vine, the best way possible, and I'm willing to spend the time to do it right.

I'm posting links to three pics of this vine (I haven't figured out how to post pics directly to this forum yet; sorry).

Thanks in advance.
