35 ft of Wisteria vine now on the ground

Our new home had a beautiful (20 year old) 35' tall Wisteria growing in the middle of the backyard. It was growing into a very large tree branch. Well the weight of it finally broke and the vine came tumbling down. The vine seems to be ok it is just piled into an ugly pile in the middle of the back yard. What can I do with it? I would love to cut it back to a shrub but, it is not standing it is laying. Do we have to erect an arbor or trellis? Can we cut the vines and try to root them? Like it is it looks terrible. Any ideals would be very appreciated.
