Containers for MG, how big?

I've got several morning glorys growing in 24-32oz pots and would like to know just how big pots need to be for a single plant to be grown to maturity. I grew one last year in a 48oz pot that seemed to do well but think it could have done better toward the end of the season. I make my own soil from an MG potting soil base and add extra perlite and/or sand and sphagnum peat. If it matters the cultivars are grandpa ott, milky way, heavenly blue and also Ipomoea quamoclit. TIA for your input.

RE: Containers for MG, how big?

Got my answer in container gardening, 1-2 gallon. Thanks anyway and hope you're having a great holiday.
